Afrikoncept Social Impact Program was established in 2018 as a social enterprise with a vision to promote indigenous textile prints by providing skills, inspiring creativity and creating awareness using women and youths in underserved communities.
Since inception, we have trained over 80 women and youths on sustainable best practices, creating wealth and jobs for women and youth.
Our Social Impact programme is designed to empower women and young girls economically to enable them participate in environmental-conscious development activities, raise the awareness to advocate for support and empowerment of girls , change the life of economically disadvantaged women and their families.
Through our sustainable material management methods, we help protect what is left by using less and up cycling our materials in the most productive way. and ensuring zero waste generation by repurposing fabrics cut outs into more valuable and artistic pieces.
Our objectives are driven along these operating platforms: Awareness, arts and culture, eco-friendly sustainable practices, empowerment and gender equality.
